RAMP: Rangelands Management Program
Conservation often fails when communities don’t see how their daily actions affect the land. RAMP is a 3-module, 6-day program built using the LAMP methodology and designed specifically for herders and morans. Through visual, participatory, and highly contextualised learning, participants develop foundational ecological understanding, leadership skills, and tools for collaborative decision-making across the landscape.
RAMP also makes the connection between healthy rangelands and carbon finance. Participants learn how improved grazing, better water cycles, and increased vegetation cover lead to land restoration—and how this positions their conservancy to benefit from carbon projects. With concepts like “solar pesa” (sun money), RAMP makes climate finance tangible, showing that good land management pays—environmentally and financially.
High Impact Leadership Program (HILP)
Where LAMP equips grassroots leaders, HILP is designed for the programme and technical staff inside conservation organisations. HILP builds the leadership and management capacity of your internal teams—those tasked with delivering results, managing people, and coordinating across complex systems.
